Mentioned as the slimmest LCD TV panel in the universe, the Samsung “Needle Slim” LED HDTV is only 3mm thin. I don’t know if there will be slimmer panel than this, sure it will when the OLED panel is ready for the real mass production. Needle Slim available in 40-inch size with 5000:1 contrast ratio.
